Jens Van Hecke (°1973), partner, focuses on general matters related to Belgian companies. He has extensive experience representing private and industrial clients in acquisitions, mergers, demergers, and joint ventures. He also devotes a significant portion of his time to advising both national and international payment institutions on financial regulation and compliance. Jens frequently handles disputes between shareholders and/or directors.Jens Van Hecke earned his Master’s degree in Law from Ghent University in 1997, followed by a specialist (post-Master) degree in Corporate Law from the Catholic University of Brussels and a specialist (post-Master) degree in Economic Law from the Free University of Brussels. He began his career in September 1999 as a junior associate at Loeff Claeys Verbeke, which merged with Allen & Overy in 2001.
